About us

We understand how difficult it is to struggle with your mental health, and therapy is not always easily accessible. We began the Mirror Project because of this exact reason: to promote ways for you to help yourself during your worst moments. We believe that everyone has the ability to help themselves, and we aim to provide you with the best methods for self-care and journaling.

The Mirror Project is a student-led initiative that aims to promote ways of self-help and self-reflection that could help people better deal with their own negative thinking and emotions. We also share various evidence-based practices related to self-help therapy. Feel free to download our resources to help you in your journaling and self-care process.

We were lucky enough to get support from the United Nations Academic Impact and we hope that our project can make a difference.

You’ve been criticising yourself for years and it hasn’t worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens.

— Louise L. Hay

This is a moment of suffering. Suffering is part of life. May I be kind to myself in this moment. May I give myself the compassion I need.
